An Honest Take on Anatom Restoration (and Why I’d Call Them Again Without Thinking Twice)

    Let me start with this:
I don’t work for any restoration company. No affiliate link, no referral bonus, no hidden agenda.

But if your house just got soaked, and you’re up at 3:17 AM Googling “water damage restoration near me” with one sock on and a Shop-Vac humming in the background—let me save you the next two hours of scrolling.

You can call them at the number: (720) 356-0945.

Yeah, I know. Another company. Another truck with a logo. Another promise.
But this one’s different — and not in the “we care more” kind of way. I mean actually different. You’ll see what I mean in about two minutes.

I Didn’t Expect to Be Impressed. Then I Was.

Here’s how I ended up writing this in the first place:

A pipe burst in my laundry room while I was out of town. I came home to warped flooring, wet drywall, and that smell—if you know, you know. It’s the kind of musty, heavy-in-the-air stink that makes you realize you’re going to be spending a lot of money very soon.

So I did what anyone would do—I called two companies right away. One ghosted me. Never even showed up. The other sent me a quote so ridiculous I thought maybe I was secretly funding their summer retreat to Aspen.

    Enter Anatom Restoration.

I didn’t know them. Never heard of them. They’re originally based in Denver, apparently started around 2019, and they’ve been expanding around the Colorado area pretty quickly.

I called the number, and within an hour, a crew (not a salesperson) was standing on my porch. Not with a clipboard and a speech about “premium packages”—but ready to get to work.

    Real Talk, No Scare Tactics

If you’ve dealt with restoration companies before, you know the usual script.
    Lots of dramatic words:

    • “Black mold.”
    • “Total structural compromise.”
    • “We’ll have to gut this whole wall just to be safe.”

And then comes the big quote, the “act now before it gets worse” pressure.

    Not with these guys.

The lead tech—pretty sure his name was Nate—walked in, geared up with moisture meters and thermal cameras, and started doing the job. No drama, no scare tactics. He methodically checked moisture levels behind the walls, in the floors, ceilings, and even the baseboards.

When he finished the walkthrough, he sat down with me and said something that honestly surprised me:
“Honestly, you caught it early. We can dry this out without ripping it apart.”

No upselling. No pushing services I didn’t need. No fear-mongering. Just an honest assessment of the damage and a clear plan to fix it.

Within a couple of hours, industrial air movers and dehumidifiers were set up. Their team sealed off the affected areas to control moisture, and everything was explained before it happened. I didn’t have to follow up. I didn’t have to wonder what was next. They just handled it.

They Even Made the Insurance Part Suck Less

If you’ve ever dealt with insurance during a property disaster, you know it’s a slow, soul-crushing process.
Anatom Restoration has someone—her name’s Tiffany—who just gets it.

She dealt with the insurance company on my behalf. She knew what documentation they needed, sent the right reports, and followed up faster than I could even think to ask.

It took so much pressure off me during a pretty awful week. I could actually focus on work and life without spending hours chasing adjusters and arguing over what was “covered” and what wasn’t.

And Apparently, I’m Not the Only One

Once everything was said and done, I got curious and looked them up. Turns out, I wasn’t some lucky exception—they actually have a ton of good feedback from people around Denver and Colorado Springs.

    Just a few I saw:

    • Jessica C.: “They gave me good news instead of selling me fear.”
    • Madison B.: “One company tried to charge thousands. Anatom told me I didn’t even need their help.”
    • Rob H.: “Dan and his crew worked hard to save our floors. No BS.”

That last one stuck with me. Saving, not gutting. Fixing, not just tearing out and billing you later.
    It’s rare. Like actually rare.

A lot of companies talk about customer service. Very few actually live it.

Anatom Restoration isn’t just another pretty website with stock photos. They’re the ones who show up when it matters and handle their business like pros.

    So, Final Word?

If your house is wet, smoky, moldy, or anything in between—and you’re somewhere around Denver or Colorado Springs—don’t waste time interviewing six companies.
    Start with Anatom Restoration.

Will they be a fit for every single situation? Maybe not. Nothing’s perfect.
But I can tell you from experience: when you’re tired, stressed, and worried about what comes next, having a team that shows up on time, tells the truth, and actually fixes things is priceless.

    Start with Anatom.
    Save yourself the stress.

And if you’re lucky—you’ll never need to call them again.
But if you do? You’ll be really, really glad you saved their number.
